dance reaching out of the quotidian, seeking the attention
of the passer-by who choses to stop, or continue their

Inspirée du Solo 30x30 de Paul-André
Fortier, cette création unit dans le mouvement
deux univers distincts, le corps humain et le corps
urbain.
Nous vous invitons à la projection ce
mercredi 22 novembre à 19h30 dans le Hall des
Pas Perdus du métro Place des Arts (c'est
le corridor qui mène du métro vers la
Place des Arts).
Cette création a été réalisé
par ilU sous la direction de Thien Vu Dang et Martin
Laporte avec les talents visuels et musicaux de Defasten
et Michel F Côté, ainsi qu'avec le support
de BravoFact!, NùFilms, La place des Arts et
Fortier Danse Création.
La création est projetée à tous
les jours du 20 novembre au 19 décembre, 3 fois
par jour, pendant 30 jours de 8h30 à 9h00, de
17h à 17h30 et de 19h30 à 20h00.
Paul-André Fortier, chorégraphe et interprète,
est l’un des chefs de file de la danse contemporaine
au Canada. Le Solo 30 x 30 est un événement
« in situ » conçu comme une performance
de 30 minutes. Il a été présenté
à l'extérieur dans un lieu public, tous
les jours à la même heure pendant 30 jours.

Inspired by Paul-André Fortier's Solo 30x30,
this work unites the apparent motion of two distinct
realities - that of the human body, and that of the
urban body.
In this light, we invite you to the screening, this
Wednesday, November 22nd, 7:30PM,
in the Hall des Pas Perdus at Place-des-Arts metro station
(more specifically, the corridor connecting the metro
station towards the Place-des-Arts complex).
This work has been produced by ilU under the direction
of Thien Vu Dang and Martin Laporte, with the visual
talent and sound artistry of Defasten and Michel F Côté,
respectively, in addition to support from BravoFact!,
NùFilms, Place-des-Arts, and Fortier Danse Création.
Screenings will occur everyday, beginning November
20th and ending December 19nth (30 days), 3 times daily:
from 8:30AM to 9:00AM, 5PM to 5:30PM, and 7:30PM to
8:00PM.
Paul-André Fortier, an accomplished choreographer
and performer, is one of the leading figures of contemporary
dance in Canada today. Solo 30x30 is an in-situ event
designed as a 30 minute performance. It was presented
in a public area, outside, everyday, at the same time,
for 30 consecutive days. = |
